Believe it or not, Halloween isn’t just about candy, costumes and carving pumpkins. Dreaming up Halloween crafts is another way to get excited for the big day. Encourage your kids to exercise their creativity and enjoy some time bonding as a family with Halloween crafts of all kinds, whether they’re into scary concepts or more adorable projects. These Halloween crafts are fun to complete together (yes, even for adults) right up until October 31. You can use them to deck out your porch for trick-or-treaters, prep your home for a Halloween party or simply to have some fun crafting with your little monsters.

Take the kids on a walk and gather some leaves to be painted black with matte spray paint. After they dry, they can use a white marker to make little vampire faces.
To make, spray paint all of the egg boxes white inside and out and let dry completely. Cut out the skeleton face templates out of black craft paper with scissors or a craft knife or make your own! Glue on the paper face pieces using a light layer of tacky glue and make sure you securely press down the pieces since the egg is round. Fill your skeleton face with some paper shred and treats!

Get ready for the cutest pumpkins ever! Start by marking a circle around the top of the large pumpkin and cut it off using a carving kit or a sturdy serrated knife. (If using a real pumpkin, remove all pulp and seeds from the inside with a large metal spoon.) Paint mini pumpkins with 2 coats of black spray paint and let dry completely. Add rhinestones for eyes, embroidery thread whiskers and pom pom noses with hot glue. Cut out cat ears from velour paper and glue each to a toothpick. Stick toothpicks into the top of the pumpkins. Fill large pumpkin with crumbled newspaper and nestle kitten pumpkins on top. Fill water tubes with water and freshly cut flowers and place in the pumpkin. Refresh water every other day.
Print out the tombstone templates and cut out designs with scissors or a craft knife so you can use them as stencils. Place your template centered on your pillow case in the position that feels right and tape or pin the corners down to keep in place. Dip a foam craft brush in a small amount of black fabric paint and dab it gently onto the fabric where you have placed the stencils. Less is more! Let dry completely.

All you have to do is attach pipe cleaners together by twisting them. Then, tape four to each side of the plate, bending at the ends so they look like feet. Finish with googly eyes, candy corn fangs, and mini shoes (we took these from Barbie).
