Tekashi 6ix9ine kidnapper urges judge to toss guilty verdict

A reputed Nine Trey Gangsta Blood convicted of kidnapping Tekashi 6ix9ine wants a judge to throw out his guilty verdict — claiming the rapper was lying through his rainbow grill during his time on the stand.

Anthony “Harv” Ellison was convicted earlier this year on charges including racketeering conspiracy and kidnapping the “Gummo” rapper.

Yet his lawyers now argue that the jury’s decision to acquit Ellison of a weapons possession charge in connection with the kidnapping shows they didn’t find 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, to be a reliable witness.

The 23-year-old told jurors he was kidnapped in July 2018 by Ellison, who pistol-whipped him and stole his $95,000 “My Little Pony” bling before dumping him in rival gang territory in Brooklyn. Photos of the bruised entertainer at the hospital quickly leaked.

“Hernandez simply had no credibility, especially in light of the fact that he orchestrated a bizarre series of events that culminated in him taking pictures at a hospital after the alleged kidnapping which he then immediately sent to TMZ,” Ellison’s lawyers Devereaux Cannick and Calvin Scholar wrote Manhattan federal court Judge Paul Engelmayer in his motion to dismiss the verdict.

“Hernandez said he wanted to make a movie out of the kidnapping that would be better than the movie ‘Straight Outta Compton.’ Hernandez’ testimony and the jury verdict that resulted should give the Court pause,” the court papers read.

 

Ellison’s co-defendant Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack filed similar documents late Monday, asking Engelmayer to throw out his conviction.

The motions come mere weeks before 6ix9ine is expected to face his own sentencing, currently scheduled for Dec. 18.

The rapper — who has been decried as a snitch since his testimony — could be sentenced to as little as time-served under his cooperation agreement with prosecutors.

While it remains unclear if he’ll enter federal witness protection, music insiders have revealed 6ix9ine already has a new album in the works.
