Rapper Fat Joe tried to warn Tekashi 6ix9ine about the pending jail time that he could possibly face due to his alliance with the Bloods gang, during an interview on his “Coca Vision” podcast nine months ago.

“I got to tell you right. You seen what happened to Bobby Shmurda,” Joe said.

Shmurda was sentenced to seven years in 2016 for weapons possession.

“These people, these police tried to set me up so many times,” Joe claimed. “They did not like who I was, who I stood for … They wanted to get me … 1 million percent they are plotting on you.”

Tekashi is facing gang-related racketeering and firearms charges as an alleged member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

He was recently relocated from Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after his life was threatened, and his new album’s reportedly been postponed.
