Cult fashion label Reformation launches a plus-size collection

Many brands are continuing to figure out that inclusivity is key to an even more successful business. One of the latest to realize this is the cult favorite Reformation, which officially launched a plus-size collection this week.

The brand hasn’t been clueless when it comes to inclusivity with a variety of additions to the mainline from children’s, swimwear and adding petite sizes and inclusive sizing with their Ref Jeans. They previously released a plus-size capsule collection in 2018, which many customers loved seeing, including Katie Sturino of the12ishstyle.

Sturino told The Post at the time that she “thought their messaging around the line was better than almost any other brand that had done” and their “Sorry it took us so long” message was an “apology that I didn’t expect to get from a brand like Ref and one that hit me hard.”

Alas, the capsule was a one-time thing and gone as soon as the styles sold out and like most of the customers — so she was disappointed.

But after listening to customers and hearing that they want more, the brand announced its permanent extended-sizing collection featuring 18 of Ref’s signature feminine dresses, tops, bodysuits and skirts all in sizes 1x-3x and 14-24.

“We want all women to be able to wear our clothes and feel good doing it. With that goal in mind, we’re super happy to now offer a bunch of our most popular styles permanently in extended sizing,” Yael Aflalo, the brands founder and CEO, said in a statement.
