Say goodbye to the rail-thin clothing dummies of the past.
Following in the footsteps of brands like Nike, Rihanna‘s luxury fashion line Fenty debuted with size-inclusive mannequins at its NYC pop-up at The Webster this week.
At the pop-up, which will last from now until June 30, cropped knits and slinky silk dresses were displayed on mannequins in a variety of shapes and sizes. Amongst the traditional, standard-size models were those with more curves, and fans were quick to take notice when the brand shared images online.

Rihanna is known for championing diversity in all of her different business ventures. Her Fenty Beauty brand launched in 2017 with a whopping 40 shades of foundation; the beauty line is now so popular that it’s made the “Umbrella” singer the world’s richest female musician.
Likewise, her lingerie line Savage x Fenty offers extended sizing that most major underwear brands don’t seem to offer, catering up to a bra size of 46DDD and a panty size of 3X.
Now, with her Fenty clothing line following suit — sizing ranges from XS to XXXL — Rihanna is taking her inclusive approach into the world of luxury fashion. Sounds like a hit to us.
