A nursery worker has been arrested after CCTV allegedly showed her pushing a four-year-old girl down a flight of stairs.
Sarah Gable, 52, faces charges of simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child following the incident on Friday in Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania.
On Monday, police released CCTV footage showing a worker at Child Care of the Future daycare centre pushing a young girl down a set of steps.
The staff member was identified as Gable, CBS Philly reported.
She was immediately fired from the nursery and later arrested on suspicion of assault and and endangering the welfare of a child.
She was later released on $25,000 bail.
The four-year-old girl suffered a knee injury in the fall, which happened at around 5pm on Friday.
Despite her ordeal, she was back at the childcare centre on Monday, according to CBS.
