Naomie Harris and Anya Taylor-Joy’s Gucci gowns were two of my Bafta favourites – even if not everybody was a fan

Have you ever wondered what goes through a Hollywood A lister’s mind when she’s choosing a red carpet frock?

Well we hope it goes something like this. “Does it make me feel like a princess?”

Because that’s what we’d be asking. Obviously no-one wants to look like a Disney throwback. We could all rummage around in the dressing up box and pull that off.

But deep down, there’s still a teeny tiny part of us that wants to be a fairytale princess, the one that gets to dance with a prince, just for the night.

Which is why we love Naomie Harris and Anya-Taylor Joy’s Gucci gowns so much.

They are quite simply the stuff of whimsical day dreams.
