Katherine Schwarzenegger pays tribute to essential workers for Halloween

Katherine Schwarzenegger is coordinating her Halloween costume — but not with baby Lyla.

The new mom, 30, posed with dog Maverick in matching tributes to essential workers. While Schwarzenegger was dressed as a nurse in scrubs and a stethoscope, the beloved dog sported a firefighter costume.

“Thank you to all of our essential workers for all that you do always, and especially this year! Since we are all at home and have been ordering a lot online, we wanted to encourage people to get creative around the house (while also upcycling boxes that have been sitting around),” she wrote in an advertisement for Amazon’s Boxtume initiative using upcycled packing materials.

In August, Schwarzenegger gave birth to her first child with husband Chris Pratt, a daughter named Lyla, and will no doubt be debuting a family costume on Saturday as well.
