This is what Carrie Underwood looks like after 40 stitches

Carrie Underwood may be insecure after getting 40 stitches in her face, but to the rest of the world, she’s as gorgeous as ever.

Underwood, 34, revealed Monday that she’d gotten between 40 and 50 stitches in her face following a nasty fall outside her home in November 2017. The tumble also left her with a broken wrist.

“I am determined to make 2018 amazing and I want to share things with you along the way,” the “American Idol” alum wrote in her fan club blog. “And when I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different.”

Despite the “Before He Cheats” singer’s disclaimer, no one else seems to notice the difference.

“Below Deck” star Adrienne Gang ran into Underwood at the gym last month and had no inkling that anything had happened to the singer’s face.

“I had no idea she got hurt prior to meeting her,” Gang, 34, told Us Weekly on Tuesday. “She had a wrist brace on, but I didn’t think much of it until I saw the headlines after I posted our picture together. I didn’t notice anything amiss on her face. Simply, she looked lovely. She was extremely friendly and gracious.”
