Genie Bouchard: 8 Must-See Pictures On Instagram

Genie Bouchard is one of our FAVORITE athletes here at COED: she’s talented, she’s gorgeous, and honestly, seems like one of the most down-to-earth professional athletes we’ve ever seen.

At just 20-years-old, Bouchard became the first Canadian-born player representing Canada to reach the finals of a Grand Slam in singles, finishing runner-up to Petra Kvitová at the 2014 Wimbledon Championships. Bouchared also reached the semifinals of the 2014 Australian Open and 2014 French Open, and won the 2012 Wimbledon girls’ title.

But what Genie may be most famous for his her #SuperBowlTwitterDate. During the Super Bowl LI between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons, Bouchard tweeted that she “knew” Atlanta would win. Mizzou student John Goehrke saw this as his chance to shoot his shot and replied with a proposal that Bouchard would go on a date with him if the Patriots would win the game. As it so happened, the New England Patriots went on to beat the Atlanta Falcons with a score of 34–28 and John scored his date.

Now 23-years-old, Bouchard is considered one of the brightest rising stars in women’s tennis.
