The Top Makeup Trends Taking Over Pinterest This Winter

We’re transitioning into winter, which means it’s time to play up deeper smoky eyes, vampier lips and more daring makeup looks altogether. And to help you out with some inspiration, Pinterest just released the highest pinned winter beauty looks on their top Pin Picks page.

BURGUNDY SMOKY EYE

Warm-toned terracotta red smoky eye looks garnered thousands of repins on Pinterest — and for good reason. This fiery shade, which may seem a little intimidating at first, actually complements almost every skin tone, eye and hair color, while adding a burst of colorful drama to any look.

Shimmery rose gold lids give off a flirty, girly vibe that’s a great break from some of the more deep, dramatic looks we typically see in the winter. Experiment with the ultra-cool holographic, lacquered look taking over beauty guru social media accounts everywhere. Huda Beauty founder Huda Kattan showed off her shiny, patent rose gold nails on Instagram, and you can get a metallic look just the same, too.
