And after Selena Gomez stepped out in a secretly sheer dress (blame paparazzi flashes), Bella stepped up to the plate to defend the singer’s date night outfit.

The actress dropped into the comments thread of an anti-Selena Instagram post to lay down some truths: “That’s not her fault that paps are shooting her on a date. It’s also not her fault that there’s a flash. It’s really not fair to say that.”
