Josh Gad Thanks Frozen Costar Kristen Bell for Saving His Family Before Hurricane Irma

This is touching and people are good.

Ahead of Hurricane Irma touching down in Florida, Frozen star Josh Gad (Olaf!) is thanking his co-star Kristen Bell for helping to save his parents. Like millions of others, Kristen is stuck in Florida with no time to evacuate pre-Irma, and so she’s helping other people seek safe shelter, including Josh’s loved ones.

The grateful Gad shared a photo of his folks with Kristen, and captioned it, “So @kristenanniebell literally saved my parents and my entire family tonight from #hurricaneirma. When they were stranded in Florida, she got them a hotel room at her hotel in Orlando and saved them, my brothers, my sister-in-law and niece and nephew. They don’t make them like this girl. Thank you Kristin.”

Kristen has also been posting to her social media about the incoming Irma, a Category 5 hurricane with 180 mph winds. She says people are helping each other, and that people helping each other was “beautiful to see.”

Irma is expected to hit the Florida Keys between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. ET on Sunday.
