Demi Lovato Reveals Nick Jonas Encouraged Her to Show Her ‘Sexy Side’ at the Grammys

Nick Jonas is Demi Lovato‘s biggest motivator — especially when it comes to her red carpet style!

The pop singer, 24, revealed that her pal Jonas, 24, was the one responsible for her stunning see-through gown at the 2017 Grammys.

“We challenge each other,” Lovato told CBS on the red carpet. “And this year he was like, ‘You know, I feel like you’ve been holding back and you can open up to the world. So show your sexy side!’”

And sexy it up she did! Lovato looked breathtaking in a cleavage plunging dress with an open back that showed just of some of her many tattoos. The singer paired the crocheted-style gown with gold heels and jewelry as she let her long dark hair flow in waves.

Lovato was up for her first Grammy nomination tonight for best pop vocal album for Confident, but Adele took the golden gramophone home for 25. The singer was still in good spirits despite the loss, saying the night was a dream come true.

“Still can’t believe I was nominated and now I get to perform tonight?!! Dreams come true people!” Lovato tweeted ahead of the show’s start.
