JoJo’s bold g-string dress brings AMAs red carpet to standstill

Early Noughties pop star JoJo has brought the 2021 American Music Awards red carpet to a standstill with a sparkling silver dress featuring a matching sparkling silver thong.

JoJo, who skyrocketed to fame with the debut single, “Leave (Get Out)” in 2004, was simply stunning in the halterneck number by LA designer Usama Ishtay.

The custom look was made up of a Swarovski crystal-encrusted plunging corset top and draped skirt with a high centre split.

A large cutout on each hip left the 30-year-old’s bejewelled g-string exposed to the other A-listers at LA’s Microsoft Theater.

JoJo — born Joanna Noëlle Levesque — wore her long blonde locks up in a sleek ponytail and highlighted her eyes with a sweep of red eyeshadow.

She chatted with reporters about her new music as well as her upcoming tour of the US and the UK/Europe in 2022.
