Even Marc Jacobs takes beauty tips from ‘Queer Eye’

The “Queer Eye” guys aren’t just helping out the slovenly masses, they’ve also given world-famous fashion designer Marc Jacobs some pointers.

In a new beauty video for Vogue, Jacobs, 56, takes viewers through his everyday routine, confessing that even he’s learned a thing or two from the Fab Five.

When it comes to his fragrance, the designer said, “I usually do … what is it, like, the ‘Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’ … Spray, delay, walk away. And so you walk through the fragrance, because you’re not supposed to spray fragrance directly on your clothes. I do usually put it on my neck before I get dressed, or if I’m in a bathrobe, then on my wrists.”

While Jonathan Van Ness often repeats this phrase on the popular Netflix reboot of the series, the line Jacobs is quoting actually originates from Kyan Douglas, the OG grooming expert on the Bravo series.

As for what Jacobs is spraying? “This is kind of a subtle fragrance, it’s called Angeliques Sous la Pluie by Frederic Malle ($260) and it is my absolute favorite,” he explained. “I met Frederic Malle once at an event and I told him how much I loved it and he made me a concentrate, like a very strong version of it, which I use sometimes if I’m going out. But this is what I use every day and love.”

Perhaps the designer can make a cameo next season to help Tan France give the show’s subjects a little extra pizzazz.
