Celebrities flock to the City of Lights to kick off Paris Fashion Week

The celebrities have landed at Paris Fashion Week.

The bold-raced front row at Dior’s show at the Museé Rodin included newly engaged Jennifer Lawrence, newlywed Karlie Kloss and newly minted face of the brand’s Dior Addict Stellar Shine lipstick line, Cara Delevingne.

When the flashing camera bulbs (which were extra reflective under the venue’s mirrored ceiling) subsided, guests found show notes resting on their seats. The pages opened with a few poignant words in honor of the legendary Chanel and Fendi designer who died last week: “An homage to the alchemist of elegance and beauty, Karl Lagerfeld.”

The collection by artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri featured variations on the house’s signature A-line silhouette (both in dresses and in skirts) in sheer tulle and puffy fabric topped with plaid coats, wide leather belts and bucket hats.

Later in the day, Anthony Vaccarello presented his collection for Saint Laurent at his usual venue, the Fontaine du Trocadéro, opposite the Eiffel Tower.

Kate Moss perched front row (she’s a regular attendee), as did Lindsay Lohan. While Lilo was also present at the house’s show last September in Paris, the timing of her appearance tonight coincides with buzz around her new reality show, “Lohan Beach Club.”

Dressed in a lacy black bra, sheer top and spangly mini-skirt, Lohan’s look echoed the club-worthy threads on the Saint Laurent runway. Think sequined striped cocktail dresses, furry stilettos and day-glow, orange, feathery frocks that will light up the dance floor at the afterparty.
