As for the fickle nature of friendship? Forget all those sayings likening friends to stars. They’re not.

One girl discovered that, contrary to what the lyrics of Wannabe would have you believe, friendship DOES end – but that doesn’t mean you have to de-tag or delete all photo reminders of your relationship.

Instead, take a leaf out of Serena Caballero’s book.

Serena came up with the perfect solution to the millennial dilemma of having fallen out with a mate, but liking how she looked in all the pictures of them together.

What’s more, you need not be a dab hand at expensive Photoshop .

Instead, Serena simply used Paint, and tweeted the image with the caption:

“Y’all ever stop fw (f****** with) someone but like the way YOU looked in the pic… so you gotta…”

She later explained to the BuzzFeed : “I was just laughing the whole time I was trying to draw half a car.”

We have a feeling this may revolutionise how an entire generation deals with ugly break-ups.
