Cinta Laura is a multitalented 23-year-old who is known for her acting, singing, and modeling abilities. She was born in Quakenbrück, Germany to a German father and an Indonesian mother, which is how she got her stunning, exotic looks. Cinta lived in several countries while she was growing up, including Germany, UAE, and Malaysia before settling in Indonesia.

Cinta’s first acting gig was a major one, as the 13-year-old landed a leading role on the Indonesian soap opera Cinderella (Apakah Cinta Hanyalah Mimpi?). The show was a monster hit, running for over 300 episodes. At the 2007 SCTV Awards, she won the Best Actress award for her role as Cinta on the TV series.

After making such a fantastic first impression on the acting scene, Cinta was able to book roles in several TV, film, and video game projects. She would then branch out to music, dropping her debut studio album in 2010. Her self-titled album was insanely popular in Indonesia, going 12x platinum.

Up next for Cinta is a voice acting role as Ariel in the animated movie Monster Trucks. The film will be released in the United States on Friday, January 13, 2017.
