Snooki Polizzi and Deena Cortese sued by The Meatball Shop over merch

Looks like “The Meatballs” are having a day.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Deena Nicole Cortese are being sued by New York-based restaurant The Meatball Shop over their merch, per federal court documents obtained by Page Six Style on Friday.

The suit — filed against the “Jersey Shore” stars on Tuesday — alleges that the reality stars infringed upon the restaurant’s trademarks on their merch, despite the fact that the reality stars have been calling themselved “The Meatballs” for years.

This isn’t the stars’ first foray into fashion; 33-year-old Cortese runs a mommy-and-me clothing line called Christopher John, while Polizzi, also 33, owns The Snooki Shop in her local New Jersey.

The Meatball Shop is asking a judge to order the women to stop selling their merchandise, which may include the “Team Meatball Forever” tee both stars recently modeled on Instagram.

Other meatball-themed merch is available for preorder on their website, from a “Team Meatball” dad hat ($28) to a “Meatball Squad” sweatshirt ($45) printed with pink wine glasses.

The Meatball Shop also sells merch online, including a branded winter beanie ($25) and caps embroidered with meat grinders ($25).

Reps for Cortese and Polizzi didn’t immediately get back to us.
