Big floppy hats are the new peek-a-boob trend on Instagram

Babes are grasping at straw — to cover their naked bodies.

Recently, Kylie Jenner, who is currently blasting millions of feeds with Turks and Caicos content in celebration of her Kylie Skin launch, posted a super shady vacation photo, and it looked awfully familiar.

The latest Instagram trend is capturing yourself entirely nude by the beach or pool, yet topping off your bare bod with a massive sunhat for, uh, some much needed coverage?

Despite all the knockoffs, the shadiest showstoppers of them all are courtesy of Simon Porte Jacquemus — fashion’s French It boy, who is known for his namesake label’s sartorial straw creations and accessories of extreme proportions. (See: teeny-tiny totes and his XXXL carryalls for reference.)

The Le Grand Chapeau Bomba, a $685 rendition worn by Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski last summer, sparked a rollout of celebs, like Jenner, and influencers flopping around in similar — and possibly, more affordable — styles in an au naturel way.

Hat fans, beware: While Jacquemus’s haute sun shields may provide posh protection, owning one will burn a whole in your wallet with high pricetags up to $500. Ouch.

Nevertheless, the beloved designer regularly sells it on his social media pages, posting dreamy images that exude vacation envy.

Heads up: The Jacquemus spring/summer 2020 catwalk, held among the lavender fields of Provence, featured new gigantic chapeau variations, which means we’ll be seeing more wide brim and birthday suit pairings for months to come.
