Wendy Williams, 53, is most famous for her role as the lively host of her nationally-syndicated talk-show, The Wendy Williams Show. She’s an actress, an author, a fashion designer, a former radio host, and still looks pretty damn good at 53-years-old.
During the recent Halloween episode of her talk-program, Wendy Williams, dressed up as Lady Liberty, fainted while performing a monologue for the camera. Many in the audience were shocked to see Williams collapse on live TV.
The Wendy Williams Show first aired on July 14, 2008. The program has lasted for nine seasons and almost 2,000 episodes. The show is still going strong, and Wendy quickly recovered after she fainted during Tuesday’s Halloween episode of her program.
Williams is a native of Ocean Township, New Jersey. She graduated from Northeastern University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in communications in 1986. While enrolled in Northeastern University, she spent her spare time DJing for the college radio station WRBB.
She has appeared on a number of TV shows, including 30 Rock, New York Undercover, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Drop Dead Diva, and much more. She has also landed roles in films such as Think Like a Man (and its sequel), The Cookout (plus, the sequel), and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates.
