This is why you can never have sex in the Bachelor mansion

Jake Ellis reveals that Matty J didn’t get lucky after all!

Each season of the Bachelor and Bachelorette feature hot and heavy scenes including chocolate baths, ahem cough Alex and Richie, passionate poolside kisses, and those sexy Salsa sessions.

But apparently it’s not that easy to slip between the sheets and seal the deal after the rose ceremonies.

The news comes after rumours surfaced that Matty J had been having sex with contestants on the next season of the Bachelor, but his friend has been quick to shut them down.

Former contestant Jake Ellis revealed to Be that it’s almost physically impossible to having sex while filming the reality series.

“I feel like that’s impossible to happen because during our filming and I’m almost 100% sure it’s the same, Matty and all the Bachelorettes are kept completely separate, there’s two different houses,” he said.

“It’s physically impossible because when we were filming we were in one mansion which I believe is the same that this season is filmed in and the other house where Georgia or Matty stayed is a couple of kilometers away so I don’t see that happening,” he continued.

The former reality star also revealed that the fame might have gone to Matty’s head.

“Someone sent me a message today, apparently one of the other boys mentioned that it’s gone to Matty’s head or something,” he confessed to Be.

And although Jake didn’t reveal much more about his mate’s journey being the future bachelor, he did open up about his own life.

Juggling his new business ventures, his family business and the illness of his mother, the reality star says he will still find time for love.

“I feel like you can always find love. It’s definitely something I’m still searching for but when it comes it comes I guess,” he told Be.

And when questioned about what he thought his dream girl would be, it seemed Jake had a pretty long list!

“Its a tough question, I am quite picky I think. I think that’s why I’m probably still single.”

He then admitted, “My biggest thing is chemistry, you know straight off the bat I feel like you can’t build that, it’s got to be something that’s there from the start.”

“Obviously someone I’m unbelievably attracted to, great sense of humour, has good banter, that sense of adventure and probably one of my biggest things would be family and someone I can take home to my family and that they approve of,” he shared.

And after organising his first race day event last month with all the Bachelor boys in Brisbane, his next big event will be a fundraiser close to his heart.

“It’s for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, it’s for their big race day coming up in September. It’s the second biggest community fundraiser in Australia.”

Becoming an Ambassador for the National Breast Cancer Foundation was an easy move. With his mother battling breast cancer for 23 years. It’s something Jake is passionate about.

“She’s a fighter and strongest woman I’ve ever met in my life so we are taking all the positives as much as we can at the moment.”
