Bella Hadid Wore a White All-Crochet Outfit in Cannes

When you think of crocheting, you often think of your fave grandma — it usually doesn’t call to mind fashion and certainly not a supermodel. However, Bella Hadid apparently wants to change that, and was seen this weekend in Cannes rocking an all-white, all-crocheted outfit that only she would think to wear. It’s also important to note that she’s wearing all white JUST before Memorial Day like the fashion rule-breaker that she is — we see you, Bella.

She’s been experimenting a lot with fashion lately, and many of her recent garments have been made with experimental materials rather than conventional fabrics. Who could forget her Met Gala catsuit, which was slightly sheer and beaded with crystals all over (fun fact: she was actually sewn into it), or her recent dress at Cannes, which was basically a case study in expertly draped crystals. This is yet another unexpected look from Hadid — she’s wearing a white crop top with crocheted pants, and TBH, she’s somehow pulling it off.

She finished the look off with some cute round sunnies and sneakers for maximum comfortability. Though this isn’t a look for the faint of heart (imagine all the things those loosely crocheted bottoms could catch on!), we commend her for wearing it. We just hope she has sunscreen on.
