Aussie woman’s bid for world’s longest legs

Her body is 69 percent pure leg.

Not for 188cm tall ex-model Caroline Arthur though, who’s got more than enough with 69 percent of her entire body made up of leg.

Caroline’s legs measure a whopping 130cm inches from hip to heel, with the mum-of-two revealing she wants to see if she can take out the Guinness world record for longest legs.

“I believe that they are amongst the longest in the world, definitely in Australia as far as I know.” explains Caroline.

For Caroline, who’s own mum Janet is only 160cm, it’s been a lifelong struggle with her height.

“As long as I remember, I haven’t been able to purchase clothes,” she explains.

“I was 12-years-old and I was buying [size] 16 and 18 to try and get the leg length.”

Being so tall at such a young age wasn’t easy for the Melbourne mum, who admits she battled low self-esteem.

“My nickname in primary school and high school was Caroline the Power line,” she says. “I did feel awkward and unattractive, and I had a real stage where I didn’t feel beautiful. I think I was 15, and that’s when I started modeling, and just went from there.”

Caroline has two children with her husband Cameron, with Zoe and Cameron following in their mum’s lofty footsteps

“My son is 13 and he’s the same height as me, and my daughter is tall, but not as tall. We call her the midget of the family because she’s only [175cm],” says Caroline.

Adds her daughter Zoe: “Mum looks like a giant, like a human skyscraper. When we’re in public she’s towering above everyone else, but I think my mum’s really beautiful.”

“I can honestly say, now as a 39-year-old woman, I am the most secure in my own skin that I’ve ever been, and I feel more beautiful than I have ever been in my life,” says Caroline.

“I really embrace my height, I love my height, and I’m very proud to be tall.”
