Karl Stefanovic’s new ‘girlfriend’ lands in Sydney

According to friends of the rumoured new couple, they’ve been keeping their romance low-key since they met in December.

But TV presenter Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough are reportedly ready to go public as a couple.

The 33-year-old model and shoe designer, who was born in Brisbane and is based in LA, was seen arriving in Karl’s hometown of Sydney in exclusive pics obtained by Be.

Jasmine was clearly attempting to go unrecognised at the airport, hiding her face with sunnies and keeping her eyes glued to her phone. Hmm, wonder who she was texting?!

According to Woman’s Day, Karl and Jasmine met last December at a party on Sydney Harbour, with the publication also revealing that Karl, 42, flew over to the US during his Christmas break to spend time with Jasmine.

And now it appears she is returning the favour by jumping on a plane to see him!

Friends told the magazine that Karl is gearing up to take Jasmine as his date to his brother Peter and Sylvia’s Jeffreys’ wedding in April, as well as introduce her to his kids Jackson, 17, Ava, 11 and River, 10.

It is believed the Today host will also take his model girlfriend to the Logie Awards on April 23.

After a messy split from his wife of 21 years, Cassandra Thorburn, 44, friends told Woman’s Day that Karl feels it’s finally time to “go public” with Jasmine.

“Karl and Jasmine don’t want to hide because they aren’t ashamed of being together,” the source told the publication.

“They’re hoping that once they declare they’re a couple, public interest will die down.”
