Rhian Sugden reveals she’s ‘terrified of empty home’ following £10K burglary – and also denies sex tape rumours

The glamour model, 30, spoke out following the break-in on Thursday, and denied reports she was now afraid of a sex tape leak

Glamour model Rhian Sugden says she feels terrified to be in her own home after burglars took more than £10,000 worth of goods in a break-in.

Rhian, from Bury, told of her horror last night after returning home alone to discover burglars had smashed their way through windows into her house.

Rhian, 30, who is engaged to former Coronation Street star Oliver Mellor who played hunky Dr Matt Carter, tweeted after the incident: “I‘m terrified to be in my own house as my windows where smashed through & my house has been violated!”

The incident happened on Thursday as Storm Doris swept through the region.

The Daily Mirror’s sister publication, the Manchester Evening News , reported on Sunday that the lingerie model had hit back on social media following reports that she fears “sex secrets” have been stolen after the incident and spoke of her terror at discovering the break-in.

And she denied that a sex tape could now appear online after her laptop was stolen.

She said in a heartfelt message posted on her Twitter to explain what had happened: “My house was burgled, they took over £10,000 worth of belongings and turned the place upside down.

Rhian, who hit the headlines for swapping text messages with TV presenter Vernon Kay from Bolton, who is married to popular Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly from Stockport, back in 2010, said: “There was nothing incriminating on my laptop, just my new business which means everything to me. Everything else can be replaced.

“I still feel violated as as they went through everything and I’m disgusted that it has been used in the media to kick me when I’m down.”

“Saying a sex tape will appear online. No it won’t as a sex tape doesn’t exist.”

She added: “I don’t know what people think I get up to in my spare time but I assure you I don’t have a cupboard full of “sex secrets” that have been stolen.

“It’s actually everything else they have taken.

“Thank you to to the kind hearted people who have actually been supportive.”
