Irene Aldana is a 29-year-old UFC fighter from Culiacán, Mexico. She competes in the bantamweight division, and she boasts a professional MMA record of 7-3 with five victories by knockout and two by submission.
Irene made her professional debut on October 17, 2012, knocking out Sandra del Rincon in the first round of their GEX bout. Irene has spent the majority of her career up to this point with the Invicta Fighting Championships. She went 4-1 in her five fights in the Invicta FC, with her lone defeat coming on July 9, 2015 in a bout against Tonya Evinger for the bantamweight title.

On December 17, 2016, Irene made her UFC debut at UFC on Fox: VanZant vs. Waterson. Despite losing a unanimous decision to Leslie Smith, Irene still put on a damn strong performance, and the bout was named the Fight of the Night.
