Charity LeBlanc, a 28-year-old married Florida mother of two, has revealed how she stays so fit post-pregnancy: she uses her children as weights during her workouts.
Yes, that’s right, LeBlanc uses her children as weights and inspiration to lose her postpartum stomach. She combines a handful of different workouts such as pull ups, push ups and weight-addled planks involving her kids.
The fit mom shares videos of her creative workouts to Instagram where she has collected more than 270,000 followers. You can check out her innovative workout routine with her son and daughter. She even recruits partner Andre LeBlanc for their family yoga videos.
“I have been doing yoga for about five years and have always taken care of my body,” she said in a recent interview. “My mother has always been fit so I grew up watching her and now I try to stay healthy and lean as I raise my kids. I started working out with my children as soon as they were born. I started with yoga as a gentle way to ease back into fitness and they have always been by my side.”
LeBlanc admits that while her kids are excited to join sometimes, other times they need a little persuasion.
“Most of the time they are happy to work out, but sometimes it takes a little coaxing.”
The fitness bloggers hopes that by participating in workouts at a young age, they’ll be inspired to stay in shape for the future.
