Katherine\u2019s reps also addressed the claims she took cocaine.<\/p>\n

“With regards to the taking of coke which Katherine has courageously publicly admitted with great honesty – this was when she was in her early 20s still a student \u2013 over a decade before she was awarded her OBE and started her recording career,\u201d her rep said.<\/p>\n

The statement lists \u201cKatherine\u2019s services to charity prior to being awarded an OBE\u201d.<\/p>\n

These include her visits to troops in active war zones including Iraq in 2005 and 2006, Afghanistan in 2007 and 2013, Cyprus in 2007 and 2009 and Kosovo in 2009.<\/p>\n

In 2006 Katherine also became a trustee of the British Forces Foundation and is also a trustee of Care after Combat and an Ambassador of the 2016 Invictus Games.<\/p>\n

The statement then went on to list \u201cKatherine\u2019s accolades in music prior to receiving her OBE\u201d.<\/p>\n

These include signing the largest record deal in UK classical recording history at age 23.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s since gone on to become \u201cthe world\u2019s most prolific crossover artist\u201d.<\/p>\n
