This is going to blow your mind, because the one mad obvious thing you\u2019ve never noticed on <\/span>The Big Bang Theory<\/em> has been right in front of our faces this whole time\u2026or should we say in front of Leonard\u2019s face. We take for granted that the characters on The Big Bang Theory<\/em> <\/span>are our fellow nerds, \u2019cause they mostly are, but we\u2019re here to expose Dr. Leonard Hofstadter for the FRAUD that he is. As any person who truly <\/span>wears glasses knows, it\u2019s a burden to bear, even if they\u2019re SUPER CUTE and in line with your #aesthetic, keeping glasses clean is a lifelong chore.<\/p>\n

But not for Leonard \u2014 because his glasses aren\u2019t real and don\u2019t have lenses, ya\u2019ll. Yeah, as glasses wearers, we feel betrayed, too.<\/h2>\n

<\/center>Look deeeep into his eyes \u2014 and you\u2019ll realize that it\u2019s actually quite easy to do because his glasses have no lenses and you can see straight through.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span>Galecki told the <\/span>Huffington Post<\/em>, \u201cWe rehearsed the first episode for about a week and a half, and when we started to shoot, they said, \u2018Well, you\u2019re gonna take your glasses off, right?\u2019 I said, \u2018No, I want Leonard to wear glasses.\u2019 They said, \u2018Oh, we just thought you were wearing them as Johnny for rehearsal all week.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nHe also said that they had to get rid of the lenses in his glasses for shooting purposes \u2014 when he looked up with his regular glasses, the lights caught the lenses and created a glare. WE GET IT, IT\u2019S PRACTICAL.<\/p>\n

\u201cI quickly popped out the lenses and that\u2019s the movie magic behind that,\u201d Galecki stated.<\/p>\n

And obviously Galecki has run into problems on set. It must be weird to wear glasses with no lenses and act like nothing is wrong. In fact, the actor told <\/span>HuffPo<\/em> <\/span>that he\u2019s accidentally poked through the frame and ended up scratching his eye (which, ouch). \u201cThat kind of killed the moment,\u201d said Galecki. We bet!<\/p>\n

But we can\u2019t help but feel a liiiiitle betrayed by one of our favorite nerds. We still love you, Leonard, but we\u2019d love you better with real glasses. JUST sayin\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
