\u201cThe Flash\u201d star Logan Williams\u2019 official cause of death has been released by Canada\u2019s BC Coroners Service \u2014 over a year after the 16-year-old\u00a0died in April 2020.<\/p>\n
According to the coroner\u2019s report, exclusively obtained by The Post Wednesday, the late star died from an \u201cunintentional illicit drug toxicity (fentanyl)\u201d and was classified as \u201caccidental.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cToxicological analysis detected fentanyl in a range where lethal outcomes have been reported,\u201d the coroner said. \u201cEven small amounts of fentanyl have been shown to be potentially toxic.\u201d<\/p>\n
A preliminary toxicology report released in May 2020 had determined his death accidental acute drug toxicity. The young actor, who played a teenage Barry Allen on the CW series, died in Burnaby, British Columbia.<\/p>\n
The official coroner\u2019s report stated that Logan \u201cstruggled with mental health concerns and had a history of consuming illicit substances.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIn 2019, he came into the care of the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD),\u201d the report went on. \u201cSupport services were provided including residential treatment; however, Logan often declined to participate.\u201d<\/p>\n
The investigation, which The Post learned just recently closed, found that he also became unresponsive after consuming substances on Feb. 26, 2020. After he was resuscitated, he was \u201cdiagnosed with a significant brain injury that affected his memory and functioning,\u201d according to the coroner\u2019s report. He was discharged on March 11 \u201cto a specialized resource with recommendations for supervision.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
The coroner\u2019s report added that on April 1, Logan left the residential care home and was reported missing to the authorities. Once he returned, Logan \u201cappeared agitated and under the influence of a substance,\u201d the report read. He went to bed soon after and \u201cappeared to be sleeping\u201d when staff at the residence \u201cconducted hourly checks.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, when staff tried to wake him up \u201che was unresponsive and not breathing,\u201d the report said. Paramedics \u201cdid not attempt resuscitation as it was apparent that Logan was deceased. Drug paraphernalia was located near to Logan\u2019s body.\u201d<\/p>\n
The coroner also added that police conducted an investigation into Logan\u2019s death and concluded that it was not as a result of suspicious circumstances, noting that \u201cstreet drugs often contain unexpected substances which can potentially pose increased risk.\u201d<\/p>\n
