Paris Hilton knows how to splurge in style.<\/p>\n

While the \u201cCooking With Paris\u201d star, 40, has a closet full of designer duds, she revealed her \u201cbiggest splurge\u201d to date is a custom pink Herm\u00e8s Birkin bag covered with crystals.<\/p>\n

Hilton gave fans a glimpse into her extensive wardrobe Thursday for\u00a0an Elle closet tour, recounting her most memorable \u2014 and expensive \u2014 outfits and accessories.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor my biggest splurge, this is a custom-made Birkin bag,\u201d she said, holding up the rare Rose Tyrien-colored purse. \u201cI love Herm\u00e8s, and I love this bag.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I was a bag, this would be me,\u201d the entrepreneur and DJ added of the design, which is covered in \u201cover 60,000 Swarovski crystals.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Hilton said she \u201ccan\u2019t remember how much it cost,\u201d the bag\u2019s value was estimated at $65,000 when she purchased it in 2018.<\/p>\n

The coveted carryall filled a long-empty space in her closet, as a\u00a0group of teenagers known as the Bling Ring\u00a0robbed Hilton of 20 precious Birkins in 2008.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cSince the Bling Ring broke into my house and stole my Birkin collection, I had been searching for this rare Rose Tyrien-colored Birkin,\u201d she\u00a0told Purse Blog\u00a0in 2018, revealing she \u201cfinally found it\u201d at\u00a0Priv\u00e9 Porter, a leading reseller of Herm\u00e8s bags in Miami.<\/p>\n

Michelle Berk, founder of Priv\u00e9 Porter, told the outlet that the bag includes five different sizes of crystals, all applied by a female craftsman.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the crystals, it took her 60 hours to put 30,000 crystals on it,\u201d she said. \u201cThink about that: It takes an Herm\u00e8s craftsman around 45 to make the bag itself.\u201d<\/p>\n
