{"id":72707,"date":"2021-08-11T02:18:39","date_gmt":"2021-08-11T02:18:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/?p=72707"},"modified":"2021-08-11T02:18:39","modified_gmt":"2021-08-11T02:18:39","slug":"presley-gerber-appears-removed-misunderstood-face-tattoo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/?p=72707","title":{"rendered":"Presley Gerber appears to have removed his \u2018misunderstood\u2019 face tattoo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A little over a year after debuting his polarizing under-eye tattoo, Presley Gerber appears to be doing an about-face.<\/p>\n<p>Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber\u2019s 22-year-old son stepped out in Malibu Monday sporting only faint traces of the \u201cmisunderstood\u201d tat on his right cheek, suggesting he\u2019s had it removed.<\/p>\n<div class=\"e3lan e3lan-in-post1\"><\/div>\n<p>Gerber\u00a0defended the polarizing design\u00a0\u2014 which was done by celebrity tattoo artist JonBoy \u2014 last February.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I thought this was going to ruin my face or I didn\u2019t want this, I wouldn\u2019t have done it,\u201d he said on Instagram Live.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt says misunderstood because that\u2019s how I felt my entire life,\u201d Gerber added at the time. \u201cF\u2014k you if you don\u2019t like it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-72708\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Presley-Gerber-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"731\" height=\"1023\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Presley-Gerber-2.jpg 731w, https:\/\/www.thefastfashion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Presley-Gerber-2-214x300.jpg 214w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 731px) 100vw, 731px\" \/><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><figcaption>Presley Gerber\u2019s arm and finger tattoos are still visible, but the \u201cmisunderstood\u201d tattoo is nowhere to be seen.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">BENS\/Paps4Real\/BACKGRID<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He\u00a0doubled down on the defense\u00a0the following month, sharing an Instagram Story that read, \u201cMost and a lot of people can get a face lifts, change genders, lip injections, etc and it\u2019s offensive to say anything in today\u2019s day in age but I get a little face tattoo and now people to love hate me.. Hmmmm?
