But Sturino is perhaps best known for creating a counter-narrative for plus-size women who have too often\u00a0been stigmatized in fashion. Sturino uses her\u00a0Instagram\u00a0to recreate iconic celebrity style moments for her 625,000 followers. Her hashtag #SupersizeTheLook\u00a0showcases her recreating celebrity looks and calling out brands that don\u2019t make extended sizes.<\/p>\n

But Sturino isn\u2019t about competing with other women. It\u2019s not about \u201cwho wore it better\u201d so much as it\u2019s about celebrating that every body looks good.<\/p>\n

\u201cI started that because women of all sizes like someone\u2019s style but often think they can\u2019t wear it themselves,\u201d Sturino\u00a0told\u00a0Women\u2019s Wear Daily of #SupersizeTheLook. \u201cI wanted to show women they can. We\u2019ve done everything from bra tops to short minidresses and shown women they can pull off anything they are inspired by.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
