Madison LeCroy wishes the best for Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez in their breakup.<\/p>\n

The \u201cSouthern Charm\u201d star told Page Six on Thursday when we reached out about\u00a0A-Rod and J.Lo announcing their split:\u00a0\u201cI wish them the best.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was perhaps the perfect send-off to the celebrity exes from LeCroy, after she\u2019d been entangled in rumors that she had a relationship with Rodriguez.<\/p>\n

LeCroy had previously remained mum when we reported last month that\u00a0Rodriguez and Lopez were splitting. \u201cYou kind of caught me off guard,\u201d\u00a0the 30-year-old reality star said\u00a0when we told her that A-Rod and J.Lo were breaking up. But now that their parting is official, she sent her best wishes.<\/p>\n

LeCroy was\u00a0caught up in a recent scandal\u00a0when rumors came out on her Bravo series\u2019 reunion episode that she had been FaceTiming with an unnamed famous baseball player \u2014 who turned out to be A-Rod.<\/p>\n

LeCroy told Andy Cohen on the show of the then-mystery man: \u201cHe contacted me, and yes, we DM\u2019ed, but other than that there was nothing \u2026 I\u2019ve never seen him [or] touched him.\u201d<\/p>\n

She subsequently told Page Six of the alleged relationship, \u201cHe\u2019s never physically cheated on his fianc\u00e9e with me.\u201d She told us that she and A-Rod, 45, had only \u201cspoken on the phone,\u201d but had \u201cnever been physical \u2026 never had any kind of anything. Just an acquaintance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meantime, sources close to the former slugger\u00a0shot down the rumors, telling the Post, \u201cHe doesn\u2019t know this woman.\u201d<\/p>\n

A month after Page Six reported that Lopez, 51, and Rodriguez\u2019s star-studded relationship was on the rocks, they\u00a0told \u201cToday\u201d in a statement\u00a0on Thursday: \u201cWe have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so\u2026 We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and each other\u2019s children.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

Lopez,\u00a0per TMZ, has not yet returned her $1.8 million engagement ring from Rodriguez; the outlet says the couple hasn\u2019t discussed it. But their source adds that the pair exchanged \u201cmassive amounts of jewelry,\u201d while together, so it\u2019s presumably not something A-Rod is prepared to go to war for.<\/p>\n

A source told Page Six in March, \u201cThe Madison LeCroy scandal was the reason they finally broke up. There were already problems, but Jennifer was really embarrassed by it.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, J-Rod \u2014 as they were once known \u2014 denied that they\u2019d split up, and said they were working things out, before finally confirming the breakup on \u201cToday.\u201d<\/p>\n

LeCroy had moved on last month by\u00a0hitting the Bahamas\u00a0and frolicking in the surf in a bikini with pals.<\/p>\n

Meantime, LeCroy told us of recent rumors that she was spotted looking cozy with \u201cSouthern Charm\u201d co-star Whitney\u00a0Sudler-Smith: \u201cI don\u2019t know why this is even a story, but Whitney and I are old friends.\u201d<\/p>\n
