Marilyn Manson has been dropped by his record label, Loma Vista,\u00a0following abuse allegations by Evan Rachel Wood.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn light of today\u2019s disturbing allegations by Evan Rachel Wood and other women naming Marilyn Manson as their abuser, Loma Vista will cease to further promote his current album, effective immediately,\u201d Loma Vista\u00a0said in a statement to Variety\u00a0on Monday. \u201cDue to these concerning developments, we have also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects.\u201d<\/p>\n

Manson\u2019s talent agents from CAA did not respond to The Post\u2019s repeated requests for comment.<\/p>\n

In addition, The Wrap\u00a0reported Monday\u00a0that an episode of the Shudder series \u201cCreepshow\u201d that contains Manson will no longer air.<\/p>\n

Manson also has a role as a rocker in the Starz series \u201cAmerican Gods\u201d in the show\u2019s current third season. Representatives for the network did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Post.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, California State Sen. Susan Rubio\u00a0reportedly had previously sent a letter\u00a0to Acting Attorney General Monty Wilkinson and FBI Director Christopher Wray encouraging an investigation into allegations against Manson. A spokesperson for the senator supplied a copy of the letter, dated Jan. 21, to Vanity Fair, which published it Monday.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince some of the alleged cases against Mr. Warner are from California, I am especially alarmed. Individuals who engage in this kind of abuse are often serial offenders,\u201d the letter read in part. \u201cIf these allegations are true, and no investigation is undertaken, we will be failing the victims and allowing a possible perpetrator to continue abusing unsuspecting victims. That must not be allowed to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

Earlier on Monday, Wood, 33, named Brian Warner \u2014 a k a the 52-year-old Manson \u2014 as her \u201cabuser\u201d in an Instagram post.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years,\u201d the \u201cWestworld\u201d star\u00a0wrote. \u201cI was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wood started a relationship with Manson when she was a teen, although they didn\u2019t go public about it until she was 19. They dated on-and-off\u00a0before getting engaged\u00a0in January 2010, but split later that year.<\/p>\n

In 2009, Manson alluded to dark thoughts about his rocky relationship with Wood in an interview with Spin magazine. He\u00a0talked of\u00a0phoning her 158 times after a breakup and committing self-harm with a razor blade \u2014 and then allegedly suggested he wanted her to see his pain and wanted to hurt her in return.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to show her the pain she put me through. It was like, \u2018I want you to physically see what you\u2019ve done,\u2019\u2009\u201d he said in the interview. \u201cBut that damage is part of it, and the song \u2018I Want To Kill You Like They Do in the Movies\u2019 is about my fantasies. I have fantasies every day about smashing her skull in with a sledgehammer.\u201d<\/p>\n
