Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have fancied up son Archie\u2019s birth certificate \u2014 with Markle erasing her first name and both adding royal honorifics.<\/p>\n

After Archie was born in 2019, many royal watchers learned Markle\u2019s true given name \u2014 Rachel \u2014 for the first time when his birth certificate was revealed.<\/p>\n

Now the latest copy of the document,\u00a0obtained by The UK Sun,\u00a0shows Markle edited the certificate about a month after Archie\u2019s May 6, 2019, birth, nixing \u201cRachel Meghan.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now she is listed as \u201cHer Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prince Harry also added \u201cPrince\u201d to the document to complete his title of \u201cHis Royal Highness Prince Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a statement Sunday to Page Six, a spokesperson for Markle told us: \u201cThe change of name on public documents in 2019 was dictated by The Palace, as confirmed by documents from senior Palace officials. This was not requested by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex nor by The Duke of Sussex.\u201d<\/p>\n

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, who turns 2 years old in May, is seventh in line to the throne.<\/p>\n\n

The revisions were made days before the Sussexes announced they would sever ties to the charity they shared with Kate Middleton and Prince William, amid rumors of a rift between the brothers and their wives.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Saturday,\u00a0Harry\u2019s summer travel plans\u00a0to London were revealed.<\/p>\n

He is expected to fly there in June to attend his grandfather Prince Phillip\u2019s 100th birthday party and the Trooping of the Colour, among other festivities. Meghan and Archie are expected to remain at the couple\u2019s home in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

The pair famously stepped away from daily royal duties last year and moved to the US in\u00a0an ordeal dubbed\u00a0\u201cMegxit.\u201d<\/p>\n
