Armie Hammer\u2019s latest ex-gal pal says their romance was like dating a wannabe Hannibal Lecter \u2014 as the Hollywood star\u2019s idea of pillow talk was fantasizing about which of her body parts he\u2019d like to roast and devour.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe said to me he wants to break my rib and barbecue and eat it,\u201d app founder Courtney Vucekovich exclusively told Page Six.<\/p>\n
\u201c\u2018F\u2013k that was weird,\u2019 but you never think about it again,\u201d she said of overlooking the odd behavior at the time. \u201cHe says, \u2018I want to take a bite out of you.\u2019 If I had a little cut on my hand, he\u2019d like suck it or lick it. That\u2019s about as weird as we got.\u201d<\/p>\n
The claims by Vucekovich, known for creating the \u201con-demand glam\u201d app Flashd, come days after Hammer\u00a0became the center of a viral cannibal fury\u00a0when direct messages he allegedly sent describing rape fantasies and cannibalism went viral.<\/p>\n
In one, shared by anonymous Instagram account House of Effie, Hammer allegedly asked a partner if he could \u201ccut off one of your toes and keep it with me in my pocket so I always had a piece of you in my possession.\u201d<\/p>\n
In another, he allegedly described himself as \u201c100 per cent a cannibal.\u201d<\/p>\n
While Vucekovich, who dated Hammer\u00a0from June to\u00a0October, couldn\u2019t confirm whether those specific screenshots were legitimate, she said they were no surprise.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe likes the idea of skin in his teeth,\u201d she claims.<\/p>\n
Vucekovich, who spoke following a divorce filing\u00a0by Hammer\u2019s estranged wife Elizabeth Chambers, tells Page Six that her relationship with the \u201cCall Me by Your Name\u201d actor was not only weird and gross but also emotionally abusive.<\/p>\n\n
\u201cHe enters your life in such a big way. He\u2019s such a captivating person. He has such a presence and he\u2019s aware of that and he uses it in such a way that most women would think, \u2018Oh my gosh, this is amazing,\u2019 but especially young women, that\u2019s kind of the scary part \u2014 how good he is at active manipulation and making you feel like he\u2019s never felt this way about anybody,\u201d Vucekovich, 30, told us.<\/p>\n
With the \u201cRebecca\u201d actor\u2019s overpowering presence, charm and charisma, Vucekovich found herself submitting to Hammer physically and emotionally, only to realize she was being manipulated and gaslit.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe quickly grooms you in the relationship,\u201d she explained. \u201cHe kind of captivates you and while being charming, he\u2019s grooming you for these things that are darker and heavier and consuming. When I say consuming, I mean mentally, physically, emotionally, financially, just everything.\u201d<\/p>\n
Vucekovich claims Hammer is a \u201cchameleon\u201d who transforms into \u201cexactly who you need him to be.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe sucks out all the goodness you have left,\u201d she said. \u201cThat\u2019s what he did to me. I gave and gave and gave until it hurt.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe quickly grooms you in the relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n Courtney Vucekovich<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n Eventually, Hammer\u2019s behavior turned \u201cobsessive,\u201d Vucekovich claims. At one point, she and Hammer spent three weeks together, 24\/7, and when they weren\u2019t together, she says, he would text her 100 times per day.<\/p>\n \u201cI wasn\u2019t safe,\u201d she realized. \u201cHe kind of makes it like, \u2018I\u2019m going to teach you things.\u2019 I\u2019m smarter than that, but where was I during that? I knew the whole time. I had this gut feeling the whole time that this was not right. He\u2019s not well.\u201d<\/p>\n Vucekovich claims \u201cThe Social Network\u201d actor would drink and do drugs \u201call the time,\u201d which left her feeling compromised and scared.<\/p>\n \u201cHe did some things with me that I wasn\u2019t comfortable with,\u201d she said. \u201cFor God knows what reason, he convinced me that these things were OK and he put me in some dangerous situations where I was not OK, where he was heavily drinking, and I wasn\u2019t drinking that way and it scared me. I didn\u2019t feel comfortable.\u201d<\/p>\n Adv<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n She added, \u201cYou end up doing things that are very out-of-character for you, including sex acts.\u201d<\/p>\n Vucekovich declined to name the sexual acts because she didn\u2019t want them to overshadow the toll Hammer\u2019s emotional abuse took on her.<\/p>\n The Dallas-based business owner describes Hammer as one of the \u201cmost broken\u201d people she\u2019s ever met.<\/p>\n \u201cHe makes you feel bad for him, and that\u2019s really scary and keeps you [close to him],\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n At one point, Vucekovich found herself paying for everything, including gas for his truck, because he\u2019s allegedly broke.<\/p>\n \u201cHe needs you,\u201d she said. \u201cHe actually needs you.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a full-time job when you\u2019re with him the way that I was,\u201d she explained. \u201cI was trying to catch my breath the entire time I was with him. You\u2019re drowning in this dark hole trying to stay afloat. There will be random moments of good that convince you to stay.\u201d<\/p>\n Vucekovich said the relationship ended following an explosive fight and Hammer left.<\/p>\n \u201cHe blows up [women\u2019s] lives like that and walks away,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Following their breakup, Vucekovich found herself having panic attacks thinking about what she endured in their volatile relationship. Her chest hurt and she struggled to breathe, so she checked herself into a 30-day partial hospitalization program for PTSD and trauma.<\/p>\n\n \u201cI didn\u2019t want to carry that into my future,\u201d she told Page Six. \u201cAs a strong mental health advocate, I knew that this relationship was something I needed to process with help from people who specialize in trauma and PTSD. That is my experience.\u201d<\/p>\n Vucekovich says therapy was the key to her recovery.<\/p>\n \u201cHe blows up [women\u2019s] lives like that and walks away.\u201d<\/p>\n Courtney Vucekovich<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n \u201cTherapy is really helpful after healing from any kind of abuse,\u201d she said. \u201cYou don\u2019t want to take that trauma with you.\u201d<\/p>\n A rep for Hammer didn\u2019t respond to numerous requests for comment, though he called the viral DM allegations \u201cbulls\u2013t\u201d in response to news that he was\u00a0stepping away from his romcom with Jennifer Lopez, \u201cShotgun Wedding.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not responding to these bulls\u2013t claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic,\u201d Hammer said in a statement to Page Six, adding, \u201cLionsgate is supporting me in this and I\u2019m grateful to them for that.\u201d<\/p>\n Hammer is holed up\u00a0in the Cayman Islands, where his two kids, Harper, 6, and Ford, 3, have been living with Chambers since the start of the pandemic. He\u2019s been\u00a0fighting for joint custody\u00a0of the children in their divorce proceedings.<\/p>\n In light of the troubling alleged messages, Hammer\u2019s past quotes about his sex life have resurfaced.<\/p>\n \u201cI liked the grabbing of the neck and the hair and all that. But then you get married and your sexual appetites change,\u201d he told Playboy in 2013. \u201cAnd I mean that for the better \u2014 it\u2019s not like I\u2019m suffering in any way.
