Natalia Garibotto, who caused a sinful scandal when\u00a0Pope Francis\u2019 Instagram account liked\u00a0a steamy photo of her, says the papal publicity gained her 600,000 followers \u2014 and now she\u2019s making more money because of it.<\/p>\n

Garibotto, who says she is religious and attends church, tells us she was \u201cshocked\u201d when she saw the \u201clike\u201d and thought it was a \u201cbig deal.\u201d But she seems to be taking an entrepreneurial view of the divine incident.<\/p>\n

\u201cI make money off Instagram,\u201d Garibotto tells Page Six, saying that attention has helped her be able to have \u201cmore leverage\u201d on brands.<\/p>\n

The model, who poses mostly in bikinis and lives in Miami, said her new\u00a0pope-loving following \u201cgave me a confidence to post more in clothes and make deals in fashion.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

Garibotto is also a gamer and has her own platform on Twitch, where she recently hosted a special event in which she told her followers about digital banking and financial health platform Ahead Financials while playing \u201cCall of Duty.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pope\u2019s \u201clike\u201d has been deleted. According to reports, the pontiff\u2019s social media are run by a team. \u201cWe can exclude that the \u2018like\u2019 came from the Holy See, and it has turned to Instagram for explanations,\u201d a Vatican spokesperson\u00a0told the Guardian\u00a0of the probe.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Pope Francis\u2019 Instagram account was accused of\u00a0liking another racy photo\u00a0of an OnlyFans model.<\/p>\n
