Olivia Jade Giannulli, the 21-year-old daughter of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, has finally\u00a0broken her silence\u00a0on the college admissions scandal.<\/p>\n
Appearing\u00a0on Facebook Watch\u2019s \u201cRed Table Talk,\u201d\u00a0the former YouTuber admitted she was \u201cashamed\u201d by the ordeal that landed both of her parents\u00a0in prison.<\/p>\n
\u201cI felt so ashamed and embarrassed \u2026 although I didn\u2019t really 100 percent understand what had just happened because there was a lot that, when I was applying, I was not fully aware of what was going on,\u201d she told co-hosts Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris. \u201cWhen I got home [from spring break], I just felt so ashamed.\u201d<\/p>\n
Olivia said she was \u201ctoo embarrassed\u201d to return to the University of Southern California, where she and her sister, Isabella Rose,\u00a0had been enrolled\u00a0after being accepted as rowing recruits despite having never participated in the sport.<\/p>\n
\u201cI shouldn\u2019t have been there in the first place, clearly,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
