Erika and Tom Girardi\u2019s divorce is allegedly a sham, according to a new lawsuit.<\/p>\n

The \u201cReal Housewives of Beverly Hills\u201d star and her lawyer husband were sued by Edelson PC, a class-action firm, on behalf of a number of Boeing plane crash victims for allegedly embezzling settlement funds meant to help the victims of Lion Air Flight 610, per federal court documents filed on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The suit claimed that Tom and his law firm Girardi Keese \u201care on the verge of financial collapse and locked in a downward spiral of mounting debts and dwindling funds\u201d and his \u201cneed to fund outrageous lifestyles for himself and his soon-to-be ex-wife Erika Jayne\u201d is the reason for her spontaneous divorce filing earlier this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile Erika publicly filed for divorce this month, on information and belief, that \u2018divorce\u2019 is simply a sham attempt to fraudulently protect Tom\u2019s and Erika\u2019s money from those that seek to collect on debts owed by Tom and his law firm GK,\u201d the lawsuit alleged.<\/p>\n

The lawsuit claimed that this is not the first time Tom kept funds meant for clients for himself, as he \u201ccontinues to use that money to find his and Erika\u2019s lavish lifestyle, release personal guarantees, pay down loans, route the money to friends and family and satisfy other outstanding debts.\u201d<\/p>\n

The lawsuit even cites Erika\u2019s song as Erika Jayne, \u201cExxpen$ive,\u201d and her\u00a0self-reported claims that it costs $40,000 a month for her glam, as reasons for the need to embezzle the funds.<\/p>\n

Page Six previously reported that the \u201cHow Many F\u2013ks\u201d singer\u00a0filed for divorce\u00a0from her husband of 21 years in November.<\/p>\n\n

While the couple\u00a0does not have a prenuptial agreement, Erika, 49,\u00a0asked the court to award her spousal support\u00a0from Tom, 81.<\/p>\n

It is unclear if the legal drama will play out on \u201cThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,\u201d as\u00a0production was halted last week\u00a0over coronavirus concerns.<\/p>\n

Edelson PC declined to comment.<\/p>\n

A rep for Erika had not seen the filing at the time of publication.<\/p>\n
