Clare Crawley spoke candidly Saturday about how she\u2019s doing her best to \u201crise above the negativity\u201d\u00a0following her exit\u00a0from \u201cThe Bachelorette\u201d earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram, the 39-year-old hairstylist \u2014\u00a0who got engaged to former NFL player Dale Moss\u00a0in a recent episode \u2014 told fans she\u2019s \u201cgoing through things\u201d and is trying to focus on the positive amid outside noise.<\/p>\n

\u201cHi. It\u2019s me, Clare. Not Clare that you have seen edited on your television or social media squares. But the human one with feelings, insecurities, emotions, and a normal life just like you,\u201d Crawley began.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd just like you, I\u2019m going through things, big and small, that all of us experience at some point or another. Just like some of you I can be shy and awkward or even fighting off my anxiety the best I can that day,\u201d she continued. \u201cThere are good days and bad days. Being on reality TV doesn\u2019t exempt me (or any of us) from that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Crawley\u2019s journey as \u201cThe Bachelorette\u201d began in March when she was named the leading lady of Season 16. Production on her season\u00a0was halted\u00a0in the spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

Once production resumed in the summer, however,\u00a0reports surfaced\u00a0that Crawley would leave her season early after falling for a suitor,\u00a0with Tayshia Adams joining the show\u00a0as a replacement.<\/p>\n\n

Although Crawley and Moss, 32, have been enjoying their engagement bliss, the California native cautioned fans about how impactful words can be.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will always do my best to rise above the negativity and find the positive, but I am not superhuman. So when you choose to pass judgements without knowing someone personally or even something as small as a snide comment, please remember just like you, I am simply trying my best,\u201d Crawley posted.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Crawley thanked fans for their support in a video shared on her Instagram story.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you for the sweet messages, they do mean a lot,\u201d Crawley said.<\/p>\n
