Dr. Medina Culver is proof that you\u2019re never too sexy to save lives. But her detractors don\u2019t always see it that way.<\/p>\n

When the now-successful family practice doctor was interviewed for a place at medical school at the start of her career, the interviewer bluntly asked her whether she had cheated on her Medical College Admission Test.<\/p>\n

\u201cUsually we don\u2019t see women with your hair color score this well,\u201d he pronounced.<\/p>\n

The then-22-year-old blonde was shocked, but she held her head high and replied: \u201cNo, I didn\u2019t cheat \u2014 I worked very hard to achieve that score.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nine years on, successfully employed as the only female partner in a Las Vegas family health practice, the doctor is still being undermined because of her gorgeous looks and figure.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been told countless times that I am too pretty to work in the medical field,\u201d Culver, 31, told The Post. \u201cPeople say I should be doing something else with my life, like modeling or acting. It\u2019s sexist, hurtful and shows the double standard regarding the appearance of men and women.\u201d<\/p>\n

Appalled at being hounded for being both beautiful and brainy, she has turned to social media to defend herself and spread the word that the two qualities are not mutually exclusive.<\/p>\n

\u201cPretty women can be more than pretty faces,\u201d she\u00a0wrote on her Instagram page,\u00a0which has over 28,000 followers. \u201cWe can also be badass doctors.\u201d<\/p>\n

The results have been mixed: Many people have applauded her defiant stance, but the married physician has also been mercilessly trolled by haters of both sexes.<\/p>\n

She was labeled \u201cugly\u201d and \u201cconceited,\u201d with one detractor commenting: \u201cHumble brag much?\u201d Another warned her \u201cto get over herself\u201d while she was called out for making \u201ccutesie faces\u201d on TikTok and boasting about her accomplishments in life.<\/p>\n\n
