The Spears family is trying to make the best of 2020.<\/p>\n

Jamie Lynn Spears\u00a0(virtually) stopped by\u00a0Good Morning America<\/em>\u00a0on Thursday where the 29-year-old actress said she\u2019s cherishing the time spent with family amid the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe circumstances suck, you don’t want any type of pandemic to ever happen, but I will say the one thing that I’ve taken away from it \u2014 I was able to have this quality time with my family and with my\u00a0children\u00a0guilt-free,\u201d the mother of two\u00a0shared.<\/p>\n

Jamie Lynn is promoting the new version of \u201cFollow Me,\u201d the\u00a0Zoey 101<\/em>\u00a0theme song she wrote and recorded alongside\u00a0Britney Spears\u00a0in 2004.\u00a0The\u00a0Sweet Magnolias\u00a0<\/em>star was asked about her big sister amid the\u00a0#FreeBritney movement.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of fans are speaking out in support of your big sister Britney,\u201d said co-anchor Michael Strahan. \u201cWhat would you like to say to everyone who\u2019s wondering how she’s doing now?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that she’s doing just like the rest of us,\u201d Jamie Lynn replied. \u201cShe\u2019s trying to make the best and stay positive during a very challenging time and challenging year, and I think that that\u2019s kind of the theme of everyone right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Britney is locked in a legal battle against her father, Jamie Spears, over her conservatorship. The iconic pop singer, 38, is seeking to have him removed after 12 years. Earlier this month, she scored\u00a0a minor victory\u00a0as a judge ruled she will be allowed to expand her team of attorneys.<\/p>\n

The #FreeBritney movement was launched as fans fear she\u2019s essentially being held captive in her conservatorship. Britney\u2019s social media is at the center of it as some people believe it\u2019s filled with coded cries for help. (If she wears yellow, for example, it\u2019s a signal.) The fact Britney, who is quite active on Instagram, hasn\u2019t shared a post in over a week is currently causing concern among fans.<\/p>\n

Jamie Lynn, who\u00a0is in control of Britney\u2019s\u00a0multi-million fortune, often defends her sister. Over the summer, someone commented about Britney\u2019s\u00a0\u201cOBVIOUS mental illness\u201d on Instagram\u00a0causing the actress to fire back.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have no right to assume anything about my sister, and I have NO right to speak about HER health and personal matters. She is a strong, badass, unstoppable woman, and that’s the only thing that is OBVIOUS,\u201d Jamie Lynn replied.<\/p>\n
