Ryan Phillippe isn\u2019t letting Ellen DeGeneres off the hook.<\/p>\n

The 46-year-old \u201cShooter\u201d star posted a still of himself mid-run Saturday to his Instagram story, squinting in front of a billboard promoting \u201cThe Ellen Degeneres Show.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd remember to be kind \u2026\u201d he captioned the picture in a seemingly mocking flowery script \u2014 referencing DeGeneres\u2019 catchphrase on the show \u2014 before adding \u201cWait\u201d in a starker font.<\/p>\n

Phillippe has not graced \u201cThe Ellen DeGeneres Show\u201d since 2011,\u00a0Us Weekly reports, going on to note that the actor\u2019s ex-wife, Reese Witherspoon, is one of DeGeneres\u2019 close friends and was a guest on the show in March.<\/p>\n\n

Aside from a new haircut, DeGeneres, 62, hasn\u2019t recently generated headlines on the level of\u00a0reports about the allegedly toxic environment she fosters on her show\u00a0that punctured her feel-good empire earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Her apology for the alleged behavior\u00a0wasn\u2019t particularly well-received\u00a0\u2014 at least by several former employees \u2014 though it didn\u2019t seem to make a difference to viewers: Her show\u2019s September return\u00a0notched her highest premiere ratings since 2016.<\/p>\n
