Kate Middleton\u2019s latest look is a royal classic.<\/p>\n

The Duchess of Cambridge, 38, stepped out in London with Prince William on Tuesday for the launch of the\u00a0\u201cHold Still\u201d photography project, clad in a long red coat from Alexander McQueen, one of her longtime favorite fashion houses.<\/p>\n

With its double-breasted, longline silhouette and contrasting black buttons, her scarlet outerwear looked remarkably similar to a Catherine Walker coat her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, wore in Birmingham back in 1984.<\/p>\n

Like Diana, the duchess accessorized with classic black pumps \u2014 hers are\u00a0Gianvito Rossi \u201cPiper\u201d heels\u00a0($695) \u2014 and a ladylike black purse,\u00a0Grace Han\u2019s \u201cLove Letter\u201d bag\u00a0($2,062).<\/p>\n

She also wore her\u00a0favorite floral face mask, an\u00a0Amaia design that retails for under $20.<\/p>\n\n
