Joe Biden\u2019s wife had to pull the Democratic presidential nominee away from reporters on the campaign trail to maintain social distancing, but that didn\u2019t prevent one of his signature eyebrow-raising comments at an event later in the afternoon.<\/p>\n

While speaking to reporters Monday outside the Biden campaign\u2019s jet, the former vice president was filmed standing closer than the CDC-recommended six feet apart from the press.<\/p>\n

Biden was asked a question by a reporter when his better half came up behind him and pulled him back a couple of steps.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry,\u201d Biden said as he was shuffled backward, regaining his thoughts.<\/p>\n

After their flight, the Bidens arrived in Miami, Fla., where they visited Little Haiti Cultural Center.<\/p>\n

While there, he watched a performance by a group of school-age children before delivering remarks about how Hispanics would be supported under a Biden administration.<\/p>\n\n

During his remarks, he had an awkward moment when he told the group of girls that he planned to come back and see them dance again, once they were \u201cfour years older.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe good news is, for me, I\u2019m here. The bad news, for you, is I\u2019m coming back,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m coming back, I\u2019m coming back. And I want to see these beautiful young ladies, I want to see them dancing when they\u2019re four years older, too,\u201d he quipped to the crowd.<\/p>\n

Biden, who is known for frequent awkward comments, has thrust himself back out on the campaign trail following months locked down in his Wilmington, Delaware, home while the coronavirus raged on.<\/p>\n

Despite President Trump\u2019s COVID diagnosis, the 2020 Democrat has maintained that he would begin in-person campaigning again with appropriate health and safety measures.<\/p>\n
