President Trump tuned in to the third night of the Democratic National Convention for\u00a0Barack Obama\u2019s anticipated address\u00a0\u2014 live-tweeting his displeasure as his predecessor\u00a0accused him of being unfit for the job.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe spied on my campaign, and got caught!\u00a0Trump wrote in all caps, without directly referring to Obama as the ex-president delivered a rare rebuke of his predecessor\u2019s time in the White House.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy did he refuse to endorse slow Joe until it was all over, and even then was very late? Why did he try to get him not to run??\u201d\u00a0Trump followed in another tweet, barbing Obama for endorsing his veep so late in the primary process.<\/p>\n

Trump also railed against former first lady Michelle Obama\u2019s speech after she took the virtual stage on Monday evening and accused her of being\u00a0\u201cover her head\u201d\u00a0after<\/p>\n

she encouraged Americans to vote him out of office.<\/p>\n\n

The president has repeatedly accused Obama of spying on his 2016 campaign. Attorney General William Barr told Congress last year he believed\u00a0\u201cspying\u201d did take place\u00a0during a probe into Russian meddling.<\/p>\n

Obama came out swinging against his predecessor in his convention speech, saying: \u201cDonald Trump hasn\u2019t grown into the job because he can\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor close to four years now, he\u2019s shown no interest in putting in the work; no interest in finding common ground; no interest in using the awesome power of his office to help anyone but himself and his friends; no interest in treating the presidency as anything but one more reality show that he can use to get the attention he craves,\u201d Obama said.<\/p>\n
