Ellen DeGeneres\u2019 brother \u2014 producer and writer Vance DeGeneres \u2014 is coming to her defense amid\u00a0accusations of a \u201ctoxic\u201d workplace\u00a0at her eponymous talk show.<\/p>\n

Vance called attacks on his famous sibling \u201cbulls\u2013t\u201d in one of two heartfelt social media posts Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you think Ellen would knowingly allow bullying or racism on her show, you don\u2019t know my sister,\u201d\u00a0her big brother, 65, wrote\u00a0in a supportive Twitter post. \u201cShe has been and continues to be a bright light in a dark world. She\u2019s one of the kindest, most generous people you\u2019ll ever meet. And one of the funniest.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ellen, 62,\u00a0has recently faced accusations\u00a0of behind-the-scenes\u00a0sexual misconduct, racism and more on the part of the show\u2019s staff. The allegations fly in the public face of the longtime show host, who\u00a0encourages viewers to \u201cbe kind.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Vance\u00a0also took to Facebook\u00a0with an impassioned affirmation that he stands by his sister.<\/p>\n

\u201cOk, I need to say something. My sister is being viciously attacked. And let me assure you \u2013 it is all bulls-t,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI put up a simple statement yesterday that said \u2018I stand by Ellen.\u2019 Only a handful of my Facebook \u2018friends\u2019 responded to it. If you don\u2019t support Ellen, then you don\u2019t support me, so please unfriend me. I\u2019m sick and tired of my sister being attacked. She always has \u2014 and always will \u2014 stand against bullying of any kind. She\u2019s a smart, strong woman who has made a positive difference in the world. And to my friends who did respond with support for Ellen and my family, thank you so much. It means a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

Several celebrities \u2014 including Ellen\u2019s wife,\u00a0Portia de Rossi, and\u00a0comedian Kevin Hart\u00a0\u2014\u00a0have come to Ellen\u2019s defense, as stars like \u201cEverybody Loves Raymond\u201d alum\u00a0Brad Garrett\u00a0and \u201cBack to the Future\u201d\u00a0actress Lea Thompson\u00a0added fuel to the anti-Ellen fire.<\/p>\n

Rumors\u00a0also recently surfaced\u00a0that Ellen was ready to depart her show, with some speculating that CBS late-night host James Corden\u00a0could take over. However, on Monday, the show\u2019s staff\u00a0returned to work\u00a0on the upcoming 18th season, and an insider told The Post that \u201cEllen isn\u2019t quitting\u201d and added that Corden \u201chas never once been spoken to or considered as a replacement for anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked in July about cancellation rumors by The Post, DeGeneres\u2019 production company representatives said, \u201cTelepictures can confirm it\u2019s untrue.\u201d<\/p>\n
